Even if you've never heard of English Country Dancing, if you've watched Pride and Prejudice, Sense and Sensibility or Emma, you've seen it! Involving line and group forms, it's a style of dancing that has survived from the 17th century to today. With called dances and live musicians, it's very accessible to beginners, and does not require a partner. This event is open to all and will include a lesson before the dance starts. This event takes place from 6-8pm at the Yarmouth History Center, 118 East Elm Street in Yarmouth. Presented in partnership with our friends at Yarmouth Historical Society and 317 Main.
Meet us at Bayside Bowl's rooftop bar (weather permitting) for Happy Hour with Gaslight Leauge members and interested others. Come chat with Leaguers and become one yourself! Invite friends! If the weather is not conducive to outdoor drinking, we'll be at the downstairs bar.
